Hi guys

I am going to be there over Easter Weekend. I am actually staying at the Protea Hotel at Malaga which borders the elands river. Any feedback on the status of the elands river or spots to try ?

i tried calling the WBTA but no answer.

I fished the Elands about 4 years ago. Water was nice and clean but didn't manage to catch anything. I did see several fish rising. It is worth giving it a proper go.

How was your trip to Waterval Boven?

I fished the elands river as a kid when visiting my grandparents on holidays.

These days I would not even think going along the river with out a partner and both armed with firearms...
