    Default Highland Run

I am going up to Highland Run in 2 weeks time.
Have any of you guys been there in the last month or so? Just curious as to the state of the river?

Definitely only river fishing (Spekboom River), but there are some sizeable pools. Fish up to 7 lb have been taken.
The fishing can be absolutely outstanding and the scenery is fantastic.

    Accommodation is also excellent.

Not a good idea at the moment, due to the rain that we have had in the area.

NOOOO!! ... go for it!! ... the big pools there can be fished almost like still water .... only the shallow runs are like REAL stream fishing. There is a huge variety of fishing there!
