Default Boat rules during competition fishing

I have a few questions with regards to competition fishing.
When there is no wind, boat not moving, can you fish on the other side of the boat, or droag side. Droag in or out of the water. Can both angles agree to change position to cover the drooag side of the boat?

Second question, Both anglers cast out and wind direction change so the boat swing to one side. One Alger is connered in. Is he aloud to cast over other anglers line? Is the angler that is now on the wrong/opponent side forced to recast in his sone?
Just one more cast.......... make it count ...........

I know little about comp fishing. Having said that, I am finding it difficult to think of a single instance in non-comp fishing where it would be acceptable (from an ethical perspective) to cast over another anglers line ...

You have your 90degrees to fish in and your boat partner has his 90 degrees.
Sometimes it is tactics to squeeze your boat partner into "a tight corner" and you have the open side.
Some might say this is not right/ethical etc.
But it is in the sport.
Your team member might be up for a medal and this guy is his biggest competitor.
You will do what is legally in the rules to protect your team member's position to win a medal.
Rugby, you have your hands in the scrum to slow the ball down.
Cricket, you bowl a bouncer etc etc
Tennis you play to your opponent's weak points.

Surely you adjust the drogue as soon as both of you agree the wind is blowing reasonably consistently in a compromised direction and you've both finished your previous retrieves?

Just like other actual sports, you beat your opponent with your training, skills, endurance or tactics. There's a big difference between an opponents weakness (something thats essentially his) and the wind changing direction... Crisis man, what am I missing here?

If your tactics are unsporting and against the spirit of the game prepare to be called on it. People forget your medals but they'll always remember you're a po@s, ask Kapil Dev

What happens if the wind changes and your number one competition is now at a massive advantage. Do you complain then?

You never fish out of the drougue side, regardless of wind conditions. the drougue is always at your back, and both anglers always fish facing the same direction. The "captaincy "of the boat alternates, so at any given time, one guy decides on drogue positioning.

personal preference, i only use a drogue when fishing from a small craft (my inflatable is 2,6m and the 4,7m kayak) but on the big boat i make use of a trolling motor. in the wind i always position the boat into the wind and control it if i would to drift downwind or not. if i position it otherwise the drift could be too fast for the fishing.
about casting lines, here i am very fortunate here, the boat partner is a lefty and me a righthanded, it suits us both to fish together (shoulder to shoulder if need be), i'm not saying for you to choose your boat partner carefully but maybe, if he interferes with your fishing then push him off the boat as an suttle reminder .

The question was more related to competition rules of drift boating.
