    Kook dit volgens die diameter van die lyn - .42mm net so oor 4 minute, .37mm amper 4 minute, .30mm vir 3 minute ens. As jy die lyn wil dye dan gebruik ek "Dye It" wat jy by Dischem kan kry, nr. 25 is so mooi olyf kleur. Het ook al vere, beads ens. met dit gedye.

    Thanx, watse kleur dye beveel jy aan vir die Vaal? Op daai noot dink jy 'n te donker kleur kan dalk te veel silhouette gee en sodoende dan die vis afskrik van 'n afstand af? Sal dit graag 'n go wil gee eendag olyf leader een dag, volgende dag vaal / koffie en as dit skoon is gladnie eers vang nie net daar sit en die awesome viz admire...

    Daai nr 25 is reg, hoe langer in die dye hoe donkerder word die lyn, net so 2 minute in die warm dye (nie kook nie) So Pale Olive glo ek is reg, nie te donker nie. Glo vis kan die hele presentation van 'n afstand sien in skoon water, en die doel is om die vlieglyn uit die equation te haal, asook die blink van die swaarder leader materiaal. Die limpness in die shock gedeelte, glo ek, gee ook meer beweging aan die vlieg.

    Hi Philip,

    Is it normal for a tapered leader to reduce in length once boiled? Also, why do you say there will be more movement on the fly when fishing a boiled leader?
