At about R60.00 a bottle a lot cheaper than most of the imported stuff.
Will let you know how it shapes up.

This is actually the same price as Deer Creek and more expensive than Loon UV. Fourteen grams of Deer Creek costs R 285 and Loon UV goes for R 210 per fourteen grams. Those are The African Fly Angler's prices.
It should be cheaper somewhere out there though...... Has anybody tried the stuff used for nails?

Not Sally Hansen. I've used Ralo Cosmetics' Gel Top Coat (Soak off UV & LED), and Planet Nails' Ezee-Gel (Buff Off). Both cure well with cheapie UV laser pointer. The gel is less prone to the tacky residue that people often speak of and handy if you quickly want to build bulk due to its high viscosity.

Finding other products for fly fishing applications is like finding good quality roadkill Bonus! But it seems to be rather expensive for the volume. Isn't there someone with a dentist buddy, I believe they use UV products and buy volumes http://www.adhesiveandglue.com/uv-curing-adhesive.html
