    exactly what a the duck does when it gets out of the water, it twerks violently .
    instead of ripping a false cast, blowing or dabbing, i can use the elastic band to good affect, thanks for the share Stephen Louw. also, i dont think its totally necessary to pluck the elastic as much as the mexican demostrated, two or three times should do the job, i think

    The best is a packet of 10 Kleenex tissues, squeeze dry with the fine tissues.

    Kleenex works well for elegant fishers like yourself Korrie. I spend about half my time on the Vaal swimming, so the chances of me having any dry material to wipe down my flies is about zero.

    I have been called many names and things in the past, but never "an elegant fisher".
    I feel truly honoured.

    As the inventor of the now famous nymphing technique "Drown and across" I never though I looked elegant on the water.
