    THE AFRICAN FLY ANGLER

If you're fly fishing as though you are 'in a contest', and the only objective is to 'catch fish' - you are missing the point .... and that is disappointing

"Fly fishing is for those who hold that the fun in the race of life is in the running, not just the winning, that existence is its own justification, that a day spent in a stream or a pond with a goal in mind is a joy even if the goal is not achieved."

It's a really good price. Not sure about the quality of the black though but for a starter diy rod it looks good. There may however be a problem with shipping due to the length of the rod being a two piece and all. I have mailed J Stockard and given them the specks of the rod we were discussing and am just waiting for a response on pricing and availibility. I will let you know the minute I get a reply form them.

    yeh, i'm up for it.
just need to know when this is going to happen and when the deadline is
    (got MAJOR time constraints)

weren't these rods initially going to be donated to a development team?

Mario - please email me with details, i don't get onto the forum much at all anymore

perhaps look at the Rainshadow kit from J Stockard?

you'll still need to look at getting epoxies, etc (but some of us already have that)
i've bought a hell of a lot from JS recently, so i might be able to squeeze a nice discount

    thought's? mail me at devlin.pammenter@gmail.com
