    Default Electric trolling motor

I am in the market for a trolling motor to fit a 3.2 m duck for the vaal.

Any recommendations? Powerwise I would rather go more than needed @ 54 lbs rather than a lower rating. Running at half throttle should give me a lot of time on the battery but, when the power is needed to negotiate a channel, its there.

Minnkota seems to be like hens teeth, where can they be bought in Gauteng?

Watersnake motors are all over at good prices? Do they last? Are they reliable if cared for?

I used a 50 amp fuse as per the Minn Kota manuel.

Usb , cigarette lighter and Hella plug socket installed, and fused inside lid.
