Fishing plans for festive season

So what is your plans this coming festive season.

I`ll be spending most of my time on the Vaal (hopefully water quality / clarity will be ok`iesh)
and a 4 day trip to Bronkhorstspruit dam.
most of witch will be spent getting the little ones to fish with me.

hope we will get some good rain to give the Vaal a proper flush well in advance.

Maybe a day here or there fishing. Most of the holiday will be spent in the Kruger to rest my brain

Apart from a bit of bait fishing with the kiddos I won't be fishing, too much planned for us by the family

I also think the December holidays are the worst time to fish at many high traffic venues, the poor fish are bombed from all directions with all of the latest tackle on the market :-)

Early mornings are probably the best shot to land a decent fish.

so i caught 2 small bass (Bronkhorstspruit dam) , a couple of muddies and a massive grass carp at silver strome.
