    Thumbs up www.yellowfish.co.za

Admin if this is inappropriate just delete!

    Good morning folks,

I am pleased to announce that starting April 2018, my Largemouth Yellowfish fly-packs will be for sale on a permanent basis throughout the year so get your orders in for delivery in April!

In short, you will receive a variety of four flies per pack, three of each. (12 flies) I cover Tadpoles with my popular Largie Toad fly and baitfish with a new (secret fly ) aka "The Hybrid" that will make its commercial debut. The Hybrid is basically the new version of my HUB fly i.e. the Hollow Uber Bugger with just one material change! Thank you in advance for your support! Follow the link for order information. http://yellowfish.co.za/the-beast-ta...lowfish-flies/

    Nice looking flies there mate.

Hey, what have you used to get that almost Pangolin scale effect on the flies in the head area?
What is it supposed to imitate?

Be great if you could share.

    Nice ties

    Howzit Kevin,

Cheers mate it's stacked foam not suppose to imitate anything just a stocky, bulky profile in the head area. Beats Deer hair right? hehe

Thanks mate for sharing - I'm guessing this is for flotation effect.

    Very cool ties -
Need to try something along these lines for some of the swamps and creeks we fish.

    Have a great Easter.

Thanks you too! No it's not floating, just sinking slower I'm using 5mm Dumbells to even things out. You want a sinking fly in most cases for Largies!

Hi Gerrit, when tying with the foam, do you think it pushes more water than dear hair or are you just trying to keep your tying station cleaner?

I love tying with deer hair, but after three or four flies it feels like the house is covered in hair. Maybe its time to switch to foam.
