Hi All,
Etienne here again, just another quick question; Im planning another early morning trip in the first week of July (a nice frosty winters morning), is there a way or a product that I can use to stop the rings on my fly rod to from icing over?
Thanks in advance,
Etienne.

Been having the same problems of late.
Easiest way is just to keep dunking the rod in the water to thaw the rings.
Have never used the stuff mentioned above, but the idea of smearing stuff into the guides that can go over the line doesn't do it for me to be honest.
The toughest part is trying to get feeling into your fingers so you can actually feel a bite and set the hook

If it swims........it's fair game.
