Not sure I understand your reply Dave?
Mark asked about blesbuck, which have "fur" like hairs and you replied that the closest to klipspringer or deer hair would be fallow deer? Even klipspringer and deer hair are quite different to one another, though they're both "quill" like and not "fur" like"?
Looking at the patches I have in front of me in terms of "thickness" of hair going from finest fur (1)to thickest quill(10) I'd say they rate as follows:
chinchilla 1
rabbit 2
blesbuck 4
fallow deer 6
deer 7
elk 8
klipspringer 10, nearly a 20 as its easily twice as thick as elk
That said elk and deer hair do vary quite significantly, due to the differnt species being broadly classified as elk or deer and the seasonal nature of their coats.

Eeiisshh, I'm blushing
People will soon start thinking that we are an "item" Doll.
I'll leave my handbag in the car if you will also
Now back to reality, I think that I may have something which you could use, which I never would.
That could be a start of a materials swap/ giveaway thread. I'm willing to bet that every tier in the world has materials that he will never use ( bought on impulse ) that another tier would gladly use.
