    Default FREE feathers

    FREE Feathers up for grabs!

    Over the past 6 months I have received lots of materials mainly from the US. Amongst the stuff I bought are many things I would probably never use - including all sorts of feathers. During the next 2 weeks, I will be posting a free feather give away on a daily basis on a first come first serve basis - see image below. The full length of the ruler is 460 mm long.

    The feathers are available for collection from;

    Isando, Johannesburg
    Northriding, Johannesburg
    Killarney Gardens, Cape Town (only as from 25 November 2007)
    Centurion, Pretoria

    If you stay outside these areas, I will mail them to you provided you pay the postage fee.

    Here is the 1 st feather give away!

    This is a vintage saddle (it looks like some feathers have been used) which belonged to a lifetime collector in the US. I bought his entire collection when he passed away. The length of the saddle is about 390 mm long (the ruler is almost 460 mm in length). If you want this saddle, post your name and state whether you want it posted or whether you will collect. See the first message of this thread for available collection points.
    First come first serve.

    Howzit Wiets !

    Thanks for not leaving us out the way okes out of this !

    I'll pass on this round as I have a Metz cape that has a very similar hackle type/colour to the one you posted tonight. Nice feathers and very useful in many different patterns.

    Some very nice looking birds there, I've got my eye on the one second from the right on the top row, and the one on the far right second row from the top.

    Cheers,

    Shaun

    Here is the 2 nd feather give away!

    Two smaller saddles with the one on the left about 250 mm in length. It doesn't look like any of the feathers have been used. If you want these saddles, post your name and state whether you want it posted or whether you will collect. See the first message of this thread for available collection points.

    Those look great, if they're still available, I'll happily have a share of them!

    Hi Dizzy

    If you want them, please state whether you will collect or you want it
    mailed - see first message for collection points and mailing condition.

    Just to make sure that you understand what's up;
    What is up for grabs is what is posted today - in this case it's the hackle as per photo marked No. 2.
    I will be giving all the feathers away - but I will post a single give away per day.
