Dubbing Wax Alternative

For those of u who like to use Dubbing Wax....

Here's a nice alternative:

Lobello lip ice or vaseline

I use Fig flavour lip balm after my daughter stopped using it (she changed to lip gloss). Will the flavour be an advantage or not? It dubs great!

Another trick that works really well and is a bit of a beginner cheat is to use a glu stick (like prit but it's blue and doesn't have any odour) – I used it once or twice on some of my earlier flies. I prefer to just wet my fingers with a bit of gob.

Good old gob seems to do the trick for me too. Just make sure you dont wax too much of the thread though as the wax/labello/vaseline etc will stop your sally hansens or head cement penetrating the thread properly.

It is not only Fig flavoured, it's green as well! I hope it will improve the yellows kissing the flies. I am actualy more worried about my daughter changing to lip gloss (also the kissing thing).
