Can you or some one else tell me where to obtain a nautical chart of the Strand /Gordonsbay area with as much info on as possible to scope out some of the reefs etc?
There is a place in the capetown harbour that sell nautical charts called amazingly enough Chart world
unfortunatley these " nautical " charts are geared towards the harbours and are 1:50 000 scale so the detail is not great in fact its awful the whole of blakes is about 1.5 cm long
If you let me know what area you are looking in I could scan and post it as a .jpg
The chart number if you still want to get one for false bay is SAN1016
I would go with google earth as a better way to scope out possible fishing spots but even that isnt great
