    Default Redington rod

    Hi guys.

I got a brand new Redington 9' #6 rod from someone, but the tip is broken off. It is a very clean break however. Does anyone know these rods, and will it be worth it to repair? Can it be repaired and by who in Cape Town?

    Thanks

Silent along the mazy margin stray, And with fur-wrought fly delude the prey

    Morne,

If it can be fixed, Roger Baert will fix it for you, and his prices are very reasonable too. Look for his number in one of the Mags, I think he still advertises there, or else email him on rodfixer@telkomsa.net.

He's in KZN though, but gets rods from all over the country.

I own an oldish Redington .... bought it a few years ago after trying several rods (including Orvis). I love the rod!!!

Does Redington not have to over-the-counter replacement thing on anymore?
