Yes only on Brassies.See the fly I posted earlier in the week.

My limiting factor thus far is getting the wires I want.

I'm talking 17 colours here.Combining wires is flippin great I say.U have so many options available,u'll confuse yourself.

I must try that epoxy back trick. Looks very lekker! Also must add a bit to durability.

    Hi G-Force,

Try it out,it looks really good IMO.

    Some tips if I may:

I had this discussion with Rory a while back.Maybe u saw it.

Tie all ur flies 1st and then add Epoxy later once all is done.

I like using 10min epoxy with an added benefit of not having to apply any head cement. The epoxy is edequite.Ur mixed batch using a toothpick will stay wet long enough to complete all flies before it goes dry.

What also works lekker is if you heat the one part a bit (it becomes runny). Then add the other part. Mix and taa-daa.....clear epoxy with no bubbles!!!

I also enjoy using it on certain flies.

Here's a Poxyback Green Drake Nymph I tied last year. Comes from Mike Mercer's book, Creative Fly Tying:
