Depends on the Venue, flows etc. IN low flows you would wade to the "preferred" lies. In high flows the ankle deep water against the bank becomes knee or thigh deep. SLN or CZN this water from the bank can be very productive.

    Any resemblance Chris

A description of Canute is to be found within the thirteenth century Knýtlinga saga:

Knut was exceptionally tall and strong, and the handseentomest of men, all except for his nose, that was thin, high set, and rather hooked. He had a fair complexion none the less, and a fine, thick head of hair. His eyes were better than those of other men, both the more handsome and the keener of their sight.

    —Knytlinga Saga[3][4]

Chris Sw fished the Vaal in a notoriously very difficult venue with a dry and dropper & got his first SM as well as a muddie in one morning
OMR and the others that were there will testify that this was GOOD, very Good.
What I'm trying to say is don't worry. Between OMR, Wade, NC Bass ( Carl ) and the rest you WILL get a SM yellow.
All I can teach is how to drift with dignity.

IF - You can understand the 'Canterbury Tales'
IF - You are capable of differentiating the most stimulating story of that collection from the rest of the peasant shite
IF - You're alone in the school library after 'lights out' with a clean towel or on the Vaal with a hot rock to sit upon pervine about the mental Britney without a hat,
IF - You bring a case of the finest 'Stroh'
THEN - You may experience agricultural CZN techniques and maybe even a ghostly 'Miller's Tale' before he claps a fart on you!

Went fishing at Eendekuil on 8/02/2008. We were the only two on the river and the fishing was excellent, even though the river was very high in comparison to our 2/01/2008 trip. A whole stretch opened up due to the higher levels. Landed 14 fish between the two of us. Had an additional 25+ hookups, but could not land the fish. The word of the day was ORANGE HOTSPOT. All fish were caught on some kind of hotspot.
