    Question Damsel/Dragonfly nymphs

I've been reading up on Stillwater fishing lately and in one of the books (think it was one of the Favoured flies & techniques) the author mentioned adding piece of sequence just behind the eye of the hook to assist in the action of the fly.

Question: Is this legal in competitive fishing?

Ok, no reply. Is it therefore safe to assume that I could tie these for our Lakensvlei session?

I'd use it and tell the others 'The Czechs Said It Was OK' (summat like 'the devil made me do it'..0)

Damsels starting to slow up their activity a bit with cooler weather/water but I've still seen a few sporadic midday damsel nymph migrations and adult (damsel) copulations damside in the past week.
