fished Strydom's yesterday. got there at 7am and finished by 15:30. the morning session saw lots of muddie action with the late morning producing some nice yellows. i struggled a little in the begining because i tried the long level leader (18 ft), maybe the weather was to blame but did see many yellows in the shallows (most of them in pairs). for the day, i landed 8 muddies and 16 yellows. all of them ranged from 800/900 to 2,2kg.
a first ever for me was two muddies at once, both caught on the nose. yellows loved the pink and glow in the dark bead. slow water was super clear and faster water a little dirtier (green brown in colour)
