Hey Guys

Whats the Vaal looking like at the moment? I have some time off this weekend and was thinking of going to check it out. I dont have a boat or anything, but wanted to ask your opinion if it would be worth it at all? Cheers J

Very low and starting to become green again no doubt it has to do with the low flows. Rain for tonight and tomorrow predicted I would stay home unless you want to try on Sunday?

I would suggest you go.
How many times have people had a blast, that did got, when you where "suppose to stay at home"
Try new things.
No boats, how about fishing wet flies from the head of the pool into the pools?
I recall a session on the Vaal, that I did that, had awesome fun.
Long casts, down stream, into the pools, with spider patterns and on dry dropper setups.
No fish in the rapids, due to water cooling down. Yes, it was a bit slow, but 7 fish for the morning is way better on a different method than sitting at home or walking around in the malls.

Wow nice to see some familiar individuals here. Korrie what a site for sore eyes. lol. Are you not getting too old to hold a rod? Last time I saw you was at saints years ago. We should get together for a pint in said spot sometime, if you are not to old to travel.
