Can I post the relevant links then?
Pieter, yeah man I know...no worries, just yanking chains.
Lower still than 10m3/s, not self respecting fish, beaver, otter or drunk fly fisherman will allow it to go that low....
Back to the original thread.
We have just had a 5 hour storm of note here in Vdbjl. My guestimate is about 60 - 75 mm of rain in that time.
If that same storm hit Sasolburg, Meyerton, Heidelburg, Alberton, Soweto etc. etc. expect the flows to be up again for the next few days.
Remember, any rain falling south of the Jo'burg ridge comes to the barrage, any north of that goes to Harties, the Pienaars river, etc.
Check the flows afore ye go.
It's not in the catching, it's in the learning something new.

Morning chaps. Just letting you know that Herman was not blowing smoke out his @ss when he mentioned that storm of yesterday evening.
Boy did it blik_em down, ey! when i left home this morning it looked like vanderbijl was hit by a hurricane, no jokes - storm damage everywhere.
Our home actualy has some storm & flood damage. We had a drainage pump installed in our courtyard for situations like yesterday, you know to stop water from damming up and flooding the surrounding rooms. It obviously doesnt work during load shedding - what shoddy timing, huh?
Dont go near the vaal for the next week or so, i have this funny feeling that the flows & water levels are going to be off the charts.
take care
Flows this morning 89...Goosbay
On my way home yesterday I saw 2 drains that popped, with Sh!* running/streaming down the road.
It was a mean storm
