Default 000 or 00 Are they toys?

Sorry guys, did'nt mean to high jack previous post. TK is a big friend of mine and we've often had this friendly banter.

I must say Mario, next time I'm in Rhodes I'd love to catch an 18 incher on one of these rods. You're right we all want to have fun, sure. These days with the economics the way they are, most of us have the means to perhaps buy one top end rod only. That's were I'm coming from. IMO to buy one of these light sticks as your only rod would be risky. I've just heard the term "they're toys" from some reputable river fisherfolk. To spashout 4k for one, that's plenty. What's the opinion out there? I've had those days when wind has been such a factor, and I've been glad not to have a 000.

    Awesomeeeeeeeeeee 000 talk
I think no innocent species of wit or pleasantry should be suppressed; and that a good pun may be admitted among the smaller excellencies of lively conversation.

I considered building a 00, but due to limited finances and use for such a light rod(IMHO), I decided against it.
