I have the story of the Klinkhammer at home, will have to get the address, it may be of interest to you.
Interesting tip I got recently was to turn the fly 90 degree in the jaws to tie the hackle.
I love the fly and use numerous variations on yellows, the perfect tie for better hook-ups on teh underslung mouths.
