As the streams are not fishable this weekend i am going to try and disturb the fish at Eikendal on Sunday, anyone joining me?

Hi Nick, think you have a good idea. Hooked my fish last week on a bright orange no name self tied fly - maybe it will go through as a blob. You must take a few Boobies and fish them nearly static on a sinking line.

I'm gonna spend some time on the beach Sunday, trying to get a nice kobbie on the line seeing that the weather is gonna give us a break at last - I hope. Not FF but R&S.

Just got news that Lourensford is also just about unfishable at the moment. Attached a photo of the road leading to Blue Gum dam, this after about 150mm of rain in three days.

You should rather give Lakies a go. . . Fishing should be pretty good up there!

This was my first plan, but the wife put the scuppers on that one, I would not be able to leave early enough to get a good days fishing in.

With it only getting dark at 19:30 if you are on the water by 13:00 it gives you almost 7 hours on the water. Just a thought

Just had a pleasant little surprize on the top dam - 50cm's on the button. Please excuse the butcher-style photograph - we're reducing the number of fish in the dam in anticipation of warm temperatures, so this one got "priested."

Id say the one i got in the eve on the bottom dam was 45-48 cm. heck of a good pull too, good stuff from these dams, and all the 4 inch bass you could ever hope to hook as well.
