That is a stunning technique you use for the body. I have seen it done with twisting larva lace and hackle together but this looks much nicer!

I think they look very good.
My personal opinion is that the bodies, are a bit "busy"
But maybe that is what the fish will like.
Try with shorter hackle barbs. Or increase the amount of peacock herls.
Natural insects are most of the times much slimmer than what we think
In my tying, I try to tie slimmer flies. But then again, I have had the times where the fish just love the more bushy look. Well done again and let me know how they perform on the water. That is the true acid test for any fly.

I really thought this was an original pattern.
Then I surfed the web. There I discovered a whole range of Caddis patterns, that looks like I have copied them.
Not sure if the body is the wrapped peacock herl, but looks very similar.
Has it ever happened to any of you, where you have a new pattern and only to discover there is a very similar if not exactly the same pattern on another site?
