I think it should do the trick and being 6weight should hopefully have enough backbone to stop some Largies.

Yeah 6weight for largies is cool...unless you hook a 7+kg fish! But all round, was a good buy...trout, yellows, even light estuary work for small saltwater fish and in lagoons.
