Had a lekker few days at Millstream.
Fishing was slow until 9am, fish only came onto bite properly at 11am. Water 9 degs. Sunny and windy.
Had all my luck on Egg with small Black Zak 30cm behind it fished static and Red Eyed Damsil fished slowly. All on floating line.
I'll stay as long as i can fish. . .
Whenever the "club" for geniuses - MENSA - was mentioned, I always wondered if their was an opposite equivalent society for imbeciles. Now I know, it's called ANCYL.

Nice James. Seems that Millstream is worth a try.
Fishing was poor at Troutbeck. Only managed to land 3 trout (300 - 800 grams). Black Woolly Bugger and Red Eyed Damsel. Missed a few takes in between but all in all not a good weekend in terms of fishing.
I'm not so sure that they actually stock as much as they say. Fish were quiet! If I saw 10 rises the entire weekend then it was a lot!
Anyhow, still better than sitting at work I guess.
