    I picked up one Leerie this past Sunday. We fished from 10:00 till about 14:00, low tide was at 10ish and the fish was caught at 13:00, just right from the slipway. The water looked good, 20 degrees with a greenish tinge. The fish took an Olive Clouser.

    Cheers,

    Hi Guys,

    Just to let you know, there are plenty of Lerries as we speak at Blakes. For the past 2 weeks already, I'm sure agent Smith will reply later.

    Cheers

    Are you sure it's not the same 40cm long fish that always seems to be there? (the one that keeps getting caught repeatedly)

    Fishing is getting more and more difficult to fit it all in.

    2 x Witte trips
    another Breede bass drift trip.
    2 Clanwilliam Yellow trips
    Bells trout trip
    And now the Blakes reefs coming on.
    some plain fishing for fun trips.
    All before middle of December.

    I am going to have some serious explaining to do, at home.

    Not to mention a certain nymphing course...
    Around the steel no tortur'd worm shall twine, No blood of living insect stain my line;
    Let me, less cruel, cast feather'd hook, With pliant rod athwart the pebbled brook,
    Silent along the mazy margin stray, And with fur-wrought fly delude the prey

    hi herman, when the fish are around its easy to knock up totals.the fish are small and its almost like raiding the kindergarden.i got 3 today.1 was ok size.other 2 were small.im goin out on a limb here but i think we are doing more damage 2 these small fish than anything else.even using a small 1o hook.u often hook them badly.its making me feel guilty...
