Ok I'm not that much of a newbie to the site anymore but for the life of me I can not fugure out the acronym SWAMBO.

I understand it referes to wife or life partner (how pc is that).

Can some one please tell me what it stands for or just elaborate if it is npot an acromyn.

There are two acronyms we use:
SWAMBO as explained above and
TWAMBO - They who always must be occupied (Referring to the kids)
SWAMBO's happiness depends on TWAMBO's. You can't stay at Elgro and leave the TWAMBO's with the SWAMBO's because the SWAMBO's also needs to relax and when you come back they tell you it is your turn for TWAMBO duty. Or something like that.
