Looking for a fly-fishing club in the JHB area, I am moving there before the end of the month! Any information would be appreciated!

Sorry.... Sorry...... Back in my hole now.
Check out the Saints' crowd. Great bunch of blokes nominally under the guiding hand of Old Man River (Chris Williams). Can be loosely described as a drinking club with a fly fishing problem but access to the Saints pond makes it all worthwhile.

Hey Pipe
You can also check out our club...we are essentially a fly-tying club, but arrange many fly fishing trips too. We have some competitive anglers as well, and you can also start competitive fly-fishing through us as we have a recognised provincial team. We have juniors and students, and "old timers".
Very informal, and generally a great place to learn fly-tying and more about fly-fishing. And get to fish some excellent waters.
It's called the "Transvaal Fly Tyers Guild".
We meet every third Monday of every month, except December. (Next meeting is 20th April, 7pm for 7:30pm.)
We meet at the Bryanston Sports Club, corner of Main and Payne Roads, Bryanston.
For more info, contact Charlie Strachan at: scharlie@iafrica.com
Or PM me for more details. Or just show up! You're more than welcome.
Cheers
Mike
