I think this is going to be a magnificent build.

Truly a one of a kind creation. I'd feel bad about using such a fine piece of work, knowing I could destroy it on that next GT I pull my arms off on.

Mario, out of interrest, excluding materials, blank and other miscellaneous, what do you charge for a build like this. Ballpark will do.

Missed this, sorry. Thanks Scythe, I hope it comes out the way I have it pictured in my head and drawn on paper

If not I'll just spray it black and send to Shawn

That's very kind. Must be because your little outjie with the next little outjie on the way is keeping you from fishing that you have all that extra time

Extra time?? Hahaha, I wish - being Loganised while trying to do thread wraps is hard

At this stage I'm really "selective" (wrong word, can't think of another one) about the rods I build. I don't want to start accepting builds and have to complete 3 - 4 rods a month and have to "rush" them. My opinion is that you have to "Foose" a rod. There will even be subtle things on the rod that Shawn will notice when he gets it (I hope), and THAT is what it is about for me at this stage.

Chugging out rods with the owner's name on is not what I'm into, and I really want to make each rod truelly unique. There is also just SO much one can do when building a rod, so ja, will see what the mind can come up with for that 3rd TXL #000

Just to add to this, Shawn did send me a Split Cane rod that needs some attention as thanks for the build, totally out of his own accord!

So Shawn, I want to thank you too for this <lifts cap, nods>

Thanks Mario, some attention, think that one will only be good enough to hang on a wall, or do you think you can get it to a state that you can actually fish it again?

Will do - very simple process actually, so now the build will look a lot less impressive Thanks
