    Default Brassie on a "D-string"

    Materials:
    • #10-16 Daiichi or circle hook
    • 7/0 Black waxed thread
    • Black SBS trilobal dub
    • Copper wire stripped from an old armature
(stacks of this stuff in different guages available for mahala from your local auto electrician)
    • Fine silver wire stripped from a guitar "D-string" - hence the name
    • Head cement

Optionally use green copper wire for a rockworm imitation

Superb production Carl, everything is nicely in balance, the audio, the viz, the background music. Maybe zoom in a little more just so the fly can be seen in more detail ?

Well done, didn't know they made them that smart in the NC

    Thanks for the info.

What is your opinion of a boatless Taung day trip?

in short: No boat, no fishing
...and you may just get your vehicle broken into by the locals - they don't steal anything, just do it to damage your property - sick b@stards!

Oh well, we will make some kind of plan, maybe we go Largie hunting out near Renosterpos. I know from chatting with Harm (spelling) that we can swim out to some rocky outcrops and target them from there.

    No harm in trying

Just above Nkolo Spa there is a cement weir, you can walk on it. There is a deep pool with lots of structure (submerged rocks) and a tree line on the right. Gary Botha caught a largie casting from this weir into the deep water, and I got broken up by "something" that still haunts me. It's close to the festival, and definitely an option.
