Real good lookning fly Mike.
Not suprising that it worked. WOuld be nice to tie in different colours and see how that pans out.
The best day to go fishing is any day that ends in a "y"
The only colours i would add to your selection Mike is Mustard (vaal magic - confidence) and a creamy yellow (worked like magic befoer on certain days).
As for the rest, i am with you 100%.
Will be tying some as soon as i can find the time between all the work i have been loaded with.
Hope to finish it all including my class on friday and get out for some fishing.

What a good pattern. I tied it on saturday for fishing on sunday and the first fish that was caught was a 2.5kg barbel.
The second (and my first yellow for the season) was a 3Kg fish. Not a bad way to start the season...
I did however use normal olive for the abdomen but it worked just as well.
Thanx for the pattern
