Default Foam shop in CPT ?

Anyone know the name/contact details of the foam shop that sells offcuts in Voortrekker Rd, opposite the cemetary ?

Any other suggestions for good places to get foam closer to the CBD ? Sean told me about Sondor, they are in Parrow Industria.

I am looking for tubes (hopper bodies in 5 mm) and sheets (2,3 mm)

    Cheers,
    Eben

There is a store just near Rasputins ( Don't pretend you don't know where that is!! ) which sells a whole bunch of different polystyrene and foam.... Its called Polystyrene world or something I think....

Otherwise try Isoboard if you can find it.... Its a roof insulation material. Gimme a shout if you in town cause I've got some in my car which I've been holding for Juan for a while.... I'm sure he won't mind me giving you some!!

Ebin, that creasefly I gave you on Sunday was made from foam which I bought at Sondor. Their smallest sheets is 1mx2m

When you get to Sondor you must simply ask them for a cut-off. They will give this to you for free.

For foam cylinders contact Flyfishers Unlimited in JHB. They sell the Rainy's products.

PS I was checking out that fly last nite to make templates for some more, the leeries seemed to like it

Do you ever cover your crease flies with a foil type film, or do you leave them white like that one ?

    EBF,

Try and get plain white, once you have tied the crease fly and it has dried - take some permanent markers and put all the detail you like onto the foam - then get some some loon soft head - and coat the thing - it only comes off if the fly has been severely savaged by toothy fish - but then the fly is normally stuffed anyway.

If you cant get hold loon of soft head - give me shout and I will send some out to you from here.
