    Default Synthetics for Saltwater flies

    Hi Guys,

I am looking to stock up on Synthetic materials to be used for winging materials on clousers and similar flies. There just seems to be so much out there so I would like to get opinions on which ones you guys think are worthwhile trying.

I have tried Steve Farrar Flash Blend as well as Deadly Dazzle and really like both of those. I have also tried the Polar Fibre stuff but in my opinion it is too short to tie the flies I want to tie.

What else besides those do you guys like tying with?

(I put this in SW Fly Tying but will be using the materials mostly for Tigerfish patterns, hence not using bucktail).

    Cheers

    Hi Grant.
I have been tying alot of tiger fish flies and the ones that work the best are tied with a combination of naturals and synthetics. Also a super hair whistler works very well in the evening, darker colors.
    Cheers
