I understand, Shaun. I'm not proficient enough to be a rod builder but with my fly tying I also enjoy creating a few outlandish experiments to relieve the monotony, test the imagination and to have some fun. Your latter no2 I'd be proud to have on any rod of mine of the colour of your blank.
