Another round of Cape Nature HNCO training is scheduled for November 2012. Dates to be confirmed. The honorary ranger program, will take the form of 2 days of lecture sessions, and thereafter, the delegates will be accredited with Cape Nature, to patrol the rivers and inspect permits. We will be given Cape Nature credentials, and limited powers. There will be limited availability for about 40 people, which will be opened to other interest groups. So get your name down without delay.
If you are interested in participating in this, and have a genuine interest to contribute to the protection of our fishery, please add your name here or PM me. Please be aware that a level of commitment is expected, as there may be occasions where you will be asked to participate in Cape Nature inspections, so it could involve a non fishing trip to the streams once every few months.
    Any questions, please ask.

So far I have not had any kind of feedback from CNC so can only assume that the course is not happening this weekend. If anything changes I'll keep everyone informed. Sorry to waste everyone's time. G

I have finally received feedback from Cape Nature with regard to the HNCO training course. I'll provide more feedback once I have cooled off and stopped kicking the cat. Delayed till 2013.
