How much was it and where did you get it?
Am looking for something like this for a travel kit.
Bought this organiser today, as I am a beginner at fly tying it meets my needs at this stage, though I would share it with other beginners.

Will work for a traveling kit.
I've got one of those as well. I've just run out of space a long time ago. I should maybe just get another one.

A nice purchase as in time, and this will happen sooner than you thing, you will run out of space in that orginizer, then you can retire it as main orginizer and use it for a travel kit where when you go away for a while on fly fishing journeys you can take what you think you will most like need in that orginizer.
In time I am afraid that will not hold even a 1/10 of what you will have.

I bought it at Pick n Pay in the vaal mall in Vanderbijlpark R129.00.
I was under under no illusion that it was a tempory solution, but I never though it work as a travel kit. Thanks for the idea.

Wouldn't bug me too much ... a travel kit is not supposed to hold everything you have, just what you need for a specific trip, for specific species.
My babe bought me this for Christmas ... yes I am still mad at her for spending so much ... but it is pretty darn larney.

That view doesn't show even a fraction of the pockets, it has another three divisions with two padded zip up pouches ... essentially it will take my Renzetti, ALL my tools, ALL my threads, ALL my eyes, beads, hooks, cheniles and most of my dubbing (currently in a Big Jim 30L box) with ease and I'll still be able to pack some PH and PT.
I was really impressed with the design and logic put into creating the kit, my only comment would be that it won't take big bucktails and long capes so that will bug me a bit on my SW outtings ... but those could always now be stowed in a very thin, very flat box as opposed to the Big Jim they're currently in, so I still end up saving space.
Medium sized bucktails will fit in quite easily.

My favourite Sony Playstation box I posted earlier you can still find for
R200-00 from Toys R Us.
I am now planning on buying a second one - One packed for the Vaal and one for miscellaneous tying stuff.
