From what I can see in the picture the yellowstone looks like quite a low end rod. Looks like a plastic reel seat.

Even an Elbe is better than that ... wait for it... wait for it...

The only thing Elbe rods are good for, is bow fishing.......you can use the rod as the bow...or the arrow for that matter........wait for it.....

Definately a plastic reel seat. $150 * R9-00 (to the dollor) R1350. I rather buy an Explorer. Then again.....I don't buy Explorer.

I think the $150 you have to spend on something else - the cheap rod is free.

OK , I've let you wait long enough

I've seen the yellowstone and held it, but not thrown it except toward the rod rack in the shop.
As an entry level rod for a pure beginner, not too badly priced, ( R =\- 400 IICRC ). T
The Elbe however comes in around 50 bucks cheaper, and with a better than plastic reel seat.

There again if you are a Newbie, leave the Elbe, 'cos it's seriously stiff and fast. Great for hauling muddies up and yellows out of the willows though, as long as your tippet and leader are + 12lb.

Seriously though ( now that I,ve had my chuckle ) the Allbright tackle is not bad. I bought a Bugatti afterall and so far am fairly impressed at value for money. Must say though that my Shimano ULtegra is still my go to reel on the 5#, and the Bugatti on the 6#'s.
It's not in the catching, it's in the learning something new.
