There is still a rumor running that there is a second one.

I was wondering weather a croc would survive the cold winters.

I fished the Drakensderg Sun. Stunning dam.
And any success as Drak Sun?

Ha ha. They had huge problems there a few years back with jetski cowboys tearing the place up, and that's when the crocodile magically appeared. I used to know a lot of the land owners around there, and the story was told many times in the local golf club after a few. Winter temps in that area would never support a croc IMO, and funny enough the locals still enjoy the dam most summer weekends... It's also not that big of a dam that signs of a croc would be hard to find.

Its a stunning dam.The croc story did not put me off fishing it a few years back.I mean the locals were swimming and fishing merrily away,so i guessed the croc would attack them first anyway.
There seem to be some really big bass in that dam. With a boat you should do very well there.
