Ja, it's good to have an 'old dog' around to teach the youngsters a few new 'tricks'

Clever wording there Mr. Shelton but beware of the youngsters. They are not all as "dof" as they seem

If you're fly fishing as though you are 'in a contest', and the only objective is to 'catch fish' - you are missing the point .... and that is disappointing

"Fly fishing is for those who hold that the fun in the race of life is in the running, not just the winning, that existence is its own justification, that a day spent in a stream or a pond with a goal in mind is a joy even if the goal is not achieved."

Yeah it's great that we have a new member and welcome to the forum Andre.

But will Andre actually contribute and or participate in a discussion. We have had plenty well respected members of our FF community join and that's where it ends.

Maybe they just like looking at the pictures...

Welldone for joining. Thanks for your good river etiqutte when asking me if you could fish at least 20 m below me and walking behind me earlier this season. This was not done by a younger protea fisherman later the same day.
