    Hi

    If you had to choose only 7 flies for the Cape Streams, what would they be.
    Only 7, two sizes of one fly counts as two.
    So, 7 essentials and their size, let see what comes up

    Heres my list, probably left off some important stuff ??

    Dry
    #14 Elk hair caddis (no hackle) dark
    #16 Elk Hair Caddis (no hackle) light
    #18 Moustique Black
    #12 Black Beetle


    Wet
    #16 Soft hackle (partridge) lightly weighted
    #22 Soft hackle very sparse starling
    #20 Flashback hotspot nymph

    #16 Klinkhammer special
    #14 Elk Hair Caddis
    #14 Mayfly imitation

    Wet:
    #16 CDC hot spot nymph
    #14 ZAK
    #16 Soft Hackle (Guinea fowl)

    Beadhead PTN (hotspot) in 7 different sizes

    = Hammer fish.

    for nymphs

    Gold bead hare's ear with orange hotspot.

    Do the hare's ear dubbing in black, tan, olive and that is the only nymph you will need. Size #14 and 16.

    #18 2mm Tungsten ZAK
