Come and do my Nymphing course, and I will show you how to Weighted Surface nymphing. Maybe weighted nymphs on the surface will count as Semi-dry fly fishing?
There is no semi-dry fishing, your fly is dry or wet (moist is wet).
Next thing will be women who are "a bit' pregnant.

    but it's in the dictionary:
Nymphing v to go looking to catch nymphs. As in fishing... to go looking to catch fish.

Anything black in a size 20 or smaller, fished on a 20 foot or longer leader with a rod of 1wt and heavier... definatly no "sub zero's"...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA!!! Cant handle those monsters you pick up on your #20's?

On a serious note, does this hold true for both your surface and subsurface patterns Andre?

    Hi All
    This tread started in 2009.
I was wondering if the forumers that stated their 7 flies will still stick to the same patterns a few years later. Like in 2015.
The way I see it: probably. Except that material probably improved and some tying skills improved so the same tied fly that worked 3 years back will still do the trick. Was there some growth in the proses. As humans we are sometimes lazy to change if there is success and are only forced to improve our skills if things get tough.
Just one more cast.......... make it count ...........
