Mario, can you send it to me too please?
Thanks, got it.
I agree with you but I dont think I'm ready to put myself in that category yet, at least not for the majority of my fishing. Yes, if I'm fishing with my dad, brother or mates and its more about the outing than the actual fishing then I'm more than happy to take it easy. If I'm on my own or with one or two fishing mates then its game time. Get there at sparrows fart, dont break for lunch and leave when the batteries on my petzel are flat...
At the bell's event I went to last year, myself and Wade specifically got there a full day and a half before everyone else, so that we could fish as hard as we liked knowing full well the event would be more social than hardcore. That said we still kept score
Check your knots!
Mario, can you send it to me too please?
THE AFRICAN FLY ANGLER
If you're fly fishing as though you are 'in a contest', and the only objective is to 'catch fish' - you are missing the point .... and that is disappointing
"Fly fishing is for those who hold that the fun in the race of life is in the running, not just the winning, that existence is its own justification, that a day spent in a stream or a pond with a goal in mind is a joy even if the goal is not achieved."
~by Jon Margolis and Jeff MacNelly
Mario, add me to the PM please!
