Sorry, Wade, I have no info on day-fishing, but from firends who have fished the area, rather fish the river just below the falls - monster nile perch there on big rapalas

But Murchison is 5 hours drive from Lake Victoria, so day fishing there may be a little tough...
If you do get to Murchison, Sambiya River Lodge is apparently the place to stay for fishermen, and they'll even fetch you from entebbe.
