Was talking about the trout, if I ever caught one.

Bass and carp become barbel / fish eagle food at Sterkies.

That's only because I haven't seen anyone catch a bass worth talking about.

What I am saying (and not detracting from the 'goodness' of The Merge) is that Touching Gold is better.
    Better soundtrack
    Better production
    Better visuals
    Better yahoo! factor
In short, award winning potential, world class.

Having said that, one must realise that one is an instructional movie, the other an exciting one.
I'd have too agree, Touching Gold does have a better soundtrack and far better action, but to compare would not be apples to apples. As you say one is instructional and the other not. The Merge also contains a number of other species whereas Touching Gold only one. Maybe...

4 short films combined in one each having the yahoo factor of touching Gold and covering the species of The Merge?
