What is the truth behind the rumour that Senqu is going under liquidation.

If it's true, then it's a real pity. The rag trade generally is under a lot of stress at the moment.
I sicerely hope that it is only a rumour.

I hope not either but the industry is under alot of strain.I was going to move into that line permanently and today i am very glad I did not.Manufacturers locally are really feeling the pinch.

Does anyone know if the Senqu stuff is named after the river in Lesotho?

Yes it is. The Senqu river is the name given to the upper reaches of the Orange, from it's source to where it leaves Lesotho. From where it enter SA, it is called the Orange, or the "Gariep".
