    Hi manne!!

    Just a bit of info...

    Here's a pic of the unofficial world record that was caught on Wednesday, the 9th!!!

    It was caught on the Manistee River...

    What a monster!!!

    My mate in the US sent me something about it. The fish was 41 1/2 lbs and was caught from a guided boat trolling a crankbait in the river - it beat the previous Michigan record by a few lbs.

    And it looks like the guy who caught it was wearing dark grey or green polaroids...bang goes my theory about amber...

    Previous record as I have it was 40lb, 4oz, dunno where or when. What is interesting, brown trout in rivers only live to be about 8 years on average! That means these okes gain weight like crazy during adulthood! Average weight is about 15lb.

    Info from a pc game, trophy rivers, which nowadays serve as a little database for me!
