I needed one in a hurry and asked the tenant "how much u want for that basket?" He replied and said R20

So in theory I paid for it.

A small Addis laundry basket also makes a good stripping basket. It is bigger, deeper and lighter than Pick 'n Pay's finest product.

One of the things about saltwater flyfishing that really makes me crazy is double-hand stripping into the shopping basket on a cold day and smacking my freezing fingers on the spikes in the bottom of the basket. It really hurts!

Doesn't happen with the laundry basket and you can also make longer strips.

    Can't remember what it costs.

If you ever manage to go fishing with me again Stephen, you can test-drive it.

Have a look at the baskets the Cooldrink vendors at the big sports staduims use.
It is moulded to the curve of the body, it has upright "pegs/what ever you want to call it"
All you need to do is make some drainage holes in the bottom.
Have been eyeing one of those for a long time. Will ask one of those vendors next time, or phone the local Coke depot and get a price.
It looks like it was custom made for FLY FISHING
